KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi’s complaint to the federation over wheat and provincial rights

Peshawar (Turkey News) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said that if Maryam Nawaz can set up bread stalls in Baku, then why can wheat not be provided to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

While talking to media in Peshawar, he said that the Governor House and Chief Minister House will work together for the rights of the province. He said he has always tried to act as a bridge between the federation and the province and will continue to play his role in resolving the problems faced by the province.

Faisal Karim Kundi said that all political parties in the country should work together for the resolution of provincial issues. According to him, internal groupings in PTI are their own matter, and there are also different groups within the opposition; however, any final comment on the political situation would be premature.

He said that the ban on wheat is a violation of the constitution, and the transportation of wheat from Punjab has been made extremely difficult. According to him, bringing flour from Punjab has become even more difficult than bringing gold biscuits.

The KP Governor urged the Prime Minister to resolve this issue immediately and also remove obstacles in importing wheat from Sindh.

He further said that stopping the supply of flour from Punjab is an injustice to the people of KP. According to him, if resources such as electricity, gas, and water are also stopped, the situation could become even more serious, so everyone must think in the broader national interest.
