Jalandhar Blast: India’s Anti-Pakistan Narrative Comes Under Question

New Delhi (Monitoring Desk) — Following an explosion near a military camp in Jalandhar, Indian media outlets accused Pakistan without presenting any clear evidence.

Indian authorities claimed to have arrested a suspect and attempted to link him to Pakistan, although the detained individual is reportedly a resident of Indian Punjab.

Indian media also claimed that the blast was carried out on instructions received from abroad; however, no credible evidence has yet been presented in this regard.

According to experts on political and defense affairs, anti-Pakistan narratives have often been used in India to divert attention from internal issues such as inflation, the energy crisis, and political pressure.

Experts further said that the immediate blame placed after the Jalandhar incident without proper investigation has raised several questions, while sections of the public have criticized this approach.
