Ankara (Turkiya News) – President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, addressing a parliamentary group meeting of his Justice and Development Party in the capital Ankara, stated that Israel’s war has transformed the region into a battlefield and imposed an economic burden on all of humanity.
He added that the conflict, which began on February 28, has now completed one month, with threats continuously increasing, but Turkey’s priority remains to keep the country safe from this fire.
Erdoğan noted that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan participated in four-party meetings in Pakistan with counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Pakistan, discussing measures to end the conflict.
The president emphasized that war with Iran does not promote global peace but causes harm, and that diplomacy, dialogue, and reconciliation are the most effective means to resolve the stalemate. He expressed hope that a path to peace can be paved without further bloodshed.
