Islamabad (Turkey News) Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has welcomed the arrival of Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and said that both countries are hopeful about promoting peace and stability in the region.
In his message on social media, Ishaq Dar welcomed his Iranian counterpart and expressed hope that the visit would further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
On the occasion of استقبال, Asim Munir and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi were also present. According to the Foreign Office, the Iranian delegation arrived in Islamabad last night, where senior officials received them.
According to sources, the Iranian Foreign Minister will meet Pakistan’s top leadership during his stay, where detailed discussions will be held on the latest regional situation and ongoing diplomatic efforts for peace.
After completing the visit, Abbas Araghchi will also travel to Muscat and Moscow, while his recent visits aim to promote close coordination and consultation with regional partners.
