Iran War Nearing End, Next Talks Likely in Pakistan: Trump

Washington (Monitoring Desk): US President Donald Trump has claimed that the ongoing conflict with Iran is nearing its end, and the next few days will be crucial.

In an interview with an American broadcaster, President Trump said that Tehran is seeking an agreement and that the United States will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons. He added that without timely intervention, Iran might have already achieved nuclear capability.

In a subsequent conversation, the US President made it clear that he is not considering extending the ceasefire, stating that there is no need for it. However, he indicated that the next two days could be decisive and the conflict could end at any stage.

President Trump further said that an agreement with Iran is a better path, which would provide the country with an opportunity for reconstruction. He also claimed that extremist elements in Iran have been eliminated and a different system is emerging there.

He criticized the NATO alliance, stating that it has not proven effective for the United States and is unlikely to provide significant benefits in the past or future.

In another interview, the US President hinted that the next round of negotiations with Iran is expected to take place in Pakistan within the next two days. He praised Pakistan’s role, saying its leadership is playing an important and positive part in the process.
