Warsai (Monitoring Desk) A video of the signing of the peace agreement between Iran and the United States has been released.
In the released video, it can be seen that French President Emmanuel Macron was also present at the time of the signing of the agreement, while US President Donald Trump signed the agreement during a dinner in Warsai.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has also signed the memorandum of understanding.
Earlier, the White House had confirmed that the US president had signed a memorandum of understanding with Iran to end the war, after which the agreement came into effect. According to US sources, both countries’ presidents had signed this memorandum electronically.
Initially, the signing ceremony was scheduled to be held in Switzerland on Friday, however later both sides, through mutual consultation, decided to complete the process earlier.
According to diplomatic sources, the purpose of this development was to reopen the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible, while according to some sources, political pressure was also an important factor in this process.
