Tehran (Monitoring Desk): Iran has expressed readiness for the second round of negotiations with the United States in Islamabad, raising hopes for new diplomatic progress.
According to international media reports, following the first round held in Islamabad, Iran’s parliamentary speaker and foreign minister have once again agreed to resume talks.
Reports indicate that no final announcement has yet been made regarding the timing and date of the next phase of negotiations; however, diplomatic activities have intensified.
Sources say that Iranian officials, along with a technical delegation, are prepared to meet US representatives in an effort to reduce differences between the two countries and move matters toward improvement.
Analysts believe that if these negotiations succeed, there could be a significant reduction in regional tensions and improved prospects for stability.
