Islamabad (Turkiye News) Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has responded to a recent statement by the Indian Army chief, warning that if India attempts any further military adventurism, it will face an even stronger and more effective response than before.
In his statement, he said that India is still dealing with the consequences of the recent period of tensions. According to him, the Indian leadership has not yet fully recovered from the impact of what he described as a setback.
Khawaja Asif further stated that India is attempting to increase pressure in the region through various means and by encouraging proxy activities. However, he emphasized that all such efforts would be confronted firmly.
He added that Pakistan’s armed forces possess full capability to defend the country and remain prepared at all times to respond effectively to any aggression or provocation.
The Defence Minister reaffirmed that there would be no compromise on protecting Pakistan’s national security and sovereignty, and that all necessary measures would be taken to safeguard the country’s defense interests.
