Kabul (Monitoring Desk) A report by an international magazine has described the current situation in Afghanistan as a severe humanitarian, economic, and social crisis.
According to the report, the human rights situation in Afghanistan is extremely alarming, where complaints of strict surveillance, social restrictions, and curbs on fundamental freedoms have been raised. The magazine has claimed that multiple restrictions have been imposed on public life in the country.
Regarding the economic situation, it is stated that Afghanistan is facing a severe financial crisis, due to which millions of people are forced to live below the poverty line, and a large number of households are burdened with debt.
The report further states that due to restrictions on women’s and girls’ education and social activities, millions of female students are deprived of higher education, while media freedom has also become limited.
According to experts, in the context of regional security, the current situation in Afghanistan is also becoming a challenge for neighboring countries, and the effects of economic decline and instability may impact the entire region.
