Baku (Turkiye News): The first-ever consular consultation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Thailand has been held.
According to the official news agency of Azerbaijan, the meeting took place on June 11, with delegations from both sides participating in discussions on consular affairs.
The Azerbaijani delegation was led by Elnur Safarov, while the Thai side was headed by Mongkol Pratumkaew.
During the talks, both sides reviewed the current state of consular cooperation and explored future prospects for collaboration.
They also discussed expanding the bilateral legal and treaty framework, establishing new mechanisms for cooperation, and strengthening institutional foundations.
The consultation was described as an important step toward making diplomatic and consular relations between the two countries more effective and structured.
