Kuwait City / Manama / Doha / Abu Dhabi (Monitoring Desk): Amid rising tensions in the Gulf region, smoke was seen near the US Embassy in Kuwait City, prompting firefighters and ambulances to rush to the scene.
According to news agencies, the embassy advised citizens via its website to avoid the vicinity, stay on lower floors of buildings, keep away from windows, and refrain from unnecessary outdoor movement. The embassy also warned that the threat of missile and drone attacks remains in the country.
Meanwhile, loud explosions were reported in the capitals of Bahrain (Manama), Qatar (Doha), and United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi).
US media reported multiple loud explosions in Doha and Dubai, along with sounds of fighter jets flying overhead. Diplomatic sources urged citizens to follow safety precautions and avoid open areas unless absolutely necessary.
