Baku (Turkey News) – At the United Nations, an exhibition showcasing the works of young Azerbaijani artists was inaugurated through the collaboration of the Republic of Azerbaijan’s Permanent Representative and the Youth Social and Psychological Rehabilitation Center “Dirchlesh.” The exhibition was held under the title "Art for Cultural Diplomacy: Azerbaijan, the Confluence of East and West."
According to Azertag, the event took place on the occasion of International Nowruz Day, recognized by a United Nations General Assembly resolution on February 23, 2010. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of various missions at the UN, diplomats, and other guests.
In his speech, Azerbaijan’s Permanent Representative Tofiq Musayev emphasized that the Nowruz event holds great significance for the Azerbaijani people and their cultural heritage.
