Excessive Demands in Nuclear Talks Unacceptable: Iran

Tehran (Monitoring Desk) — Iran has sent a clear message to the United States that discussions on its missile program and regional allies are unacceptable and that excessive demands in nuclear negotiations should be dropped.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in a telephone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart, stated that while there is agreement on some issues and disagreement on others in the nuclear talks, it is essential to avoid any miscalculations or unrealistic demands.

He further emphasized the need to continue discussions on nuclear-related measures and the lifting of sanctions, with further talks expected in Vienna to reach a mutually agreed resolution.
