Emergency Economic Meeting in Baku Reviews Agricultural Challenges, Major Decisions Approved to Boost Production

Baku (Turkey News) An important meeting of Azerbaijan’s Economic Council was held in Baku to review the development of the country’s agricultural sector, its current situation, and future plans in detail.

The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Ali Asadov, where sustainable development of agriculture was the main focus of discussion.

During the meeting, key issues including increasing agricultural production, improving productivity, strengthening food security, expanding agricultural trade and exports, and protecting employment in rural areas were reviewed.

Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov presented a detailed report on the sector’s performance and future strategy.

Members of the council and other participants also submitted various proposals, which were thoroughly discussed.

At the end of the meeting, important decisions were approved for the development of the agricultural sector, and necessary instructions were issued to relevant institutions.
