Washington (Monitoring Desk): The United States has carried out heavy bombing in Iran’s city of Isfahan, targeting a major weapons depot. According to international media reports, 2,000-pound bunker-buster bombs were used in the operation.
U.S. officials stated that the primary target of the strike was an arms storage facility in Isfahan, where powerful explosions were heard across a wide area. Shortly after the attack, videos of the blasts surfaced, showing scenes of destruction.
U.S. President Donald Trump also shared footage of the operation on social media, which is being seen as a strong message to Iran.
It is worth noting that some reports describe Isfahan as an area with sensitive installations; however, initial information suggests that mainly military structures and the weapons depot were targeted in the attack.
