Deadly Attacks on Lebanon: Hundreds Killed, Strong Global Reaction

Lebanon (Monitoring Desk): Strong international reactions have emerged following fresh Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon, with various countries and organizations expressing deep concern over the situation.

According to Lebanon’s Civil Defense, at least 204 people were killed and 1,165 injured in the Israeli bombardment. The strikes targeted multiple areas including Beirut, the Beqaa Valley, Mount Lebanon, Sidon, and southern Lebanon.

According to Arab media, the Israeli military claimed that this was the largest coordinated operation in Lebanon since the military campaign began on March 2, targeting more than 100 command centers and military installations of Hezbollah.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Lebanon is not part of the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, and Israel will continue its operations.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump also described Lebanon as a separate issue from the ceasefire, while Pakistan maintains that Lebanon should be considered part of the ceasefire framework.

It is worth noting that following the recent attacks, Lebanon’s medical organizations have declared an emergency, urging doctors nationwide to report for duty, while major hospitals have appealed for urgent blood donations.
