Baku (Turkey News) – Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi.
During the discussion, the current regional situation was reviewed. The ministers exchanged views on possible measures to de-escalate military tensions in the region and emphasized the importance of ensuring security in the Caspian Sea area.
Minister Bayramov also reiterated Azerbaijan’s expectations for Iran to complete investigations into drone attacks originating from Iranian territory on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
During the call, the ministers also discussed matters of mutual interest and other bilateral issues.
