Baku (Turkey News) Azerbaijan has sent another humanitarian shipment to Ukraine, including electrical equipment. According to a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on January 16, 2026, the shipment was dispatched from the Sumgait Technologies Park by the Ministry of Energy.
The humanitarian aid package includes 12 low-voltage panels, 11 generators, 5 transformers, and 27,000 meters of cables and wires. Based on Ukraine’s request, the total value of this aid is estimated at $1 million.
Azerbaijan has previously provided humanitarian assistance to Ukraine for electricity supply, and amid the ongoing conflict, the total humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan for reconstruction and restoration efforts in Ukraine has now exceeded $45 million.
