Azerbaijan (Monitoring Desk):Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahid Jalalzadeh, who is visiting Azerbaijan, according to a report from News A.Z.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the agenda for bilateral and multilateral cooperation, recent tensions in Iran, and other regional issues. Deputy Minister Jalalzadeh provided detailed information on the recent protests and current situation in Iran.
Minister Bayramov emphasized that Azerbaijan values stability in Iran and extended condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in recent events. The meeting also highlighted that high-level contacts, mutual visits, and political dialogue play an important role in strengthening friendly relations and promoting cooperation on matters of mutual interest.
Additionally, the positive work of the State Commission on economic, trade, and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries was underlined.
