Azerbaijan (Turkey News): During his visit to Malaysia, Azerbaijan’s Minister for Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov, held talks with Malaysia’s Chief Commissioner of Civil Defence Forces, Mohammad Abddin Abdul Rahman, on cooperation in emergency management, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The discussions emphasized the importance of international collaboration in emergency management against the backdrop of climate change, increasing natural disasters, and technical accidents.
The statement highlighted that, in the context of friendship and mutual trust, exchanging experiences in disaster and crisis management and conducting joint training and professional development programs between responsible agencies would be mutually beneficial. Both sides noted that the current visit and discussions are expected to create new opportunities to strengthen bilateral relations.
