Brisbane (Sports Desk): Former renowned Australian cricketer Damien Martyn has been admitted in critical condition to a major hospital in Brisbane, where he is currently undergoing treatment. According to international media reports, he has been diagnosed with meningitis, and doctors have described his condition as extremely serious.
Reports say that 54-year-old Martyn suddenly fell severely ill on Christmas Day and collapsed, after which he was immediately rushed to hospital. He remains under close observation by medical specialists.
