Azerbaijan (Commerce Desk): Azerbaijan on Saturday dispatched another large shipment of humanitarian aid to Iran. This move comes after recent telephone contact between the leaders of the two countries, aimed at addressing the immediate needs of the Iranian people during difficult circumstances.
According to sources, this development followed a conversation between Ilham Aliyev and Masoud Pezeshkian, during which mutual cooperation and relief efforts were agreed upon.
The aid consignment includes food, medicines, and medical supplies, with a total weight of 200 tons. Details indicate that 190 tons consist of food items, 7 tons of medicines, and 3 tons of medical equipment sent to Iran.
According to the state news agency, this assistance is being seen as an important example of friendship and cooperation between the two neighboring countries, with the possibility of further aid measures also being expressed.
