US–Iran peace agreement finalized, announcement to reopen Strait of Hormuz

Washington (Monitoring Desk) In Washington, US President Donald Trump has confirmed that a peace agreement between the United States and Iran has been finalized, with both countries agreeing to an immediate and permanent end to military operations on all fronts.

According to President Trump, the agreement includes a complete cessation of hostilities across all related theaters, including Lebanon.

He announced that under the agreement, the Strait of Hormuz will be fully reopened for commercial activity, while the United States will also immediately lift its naval blockade.

The US President said that global maritime routes have been restored and oil supply and international trade will now resume as normal.

In his statement, he said, “The deal is done, congratulations,” and directed that commercial vessels around the world resume their journeys and that energy supply routes be restored.

According to sources, the agreement is in an initial framework stage, and technical negotiations and implementation procedures will be finalized in the coming days.

It is worth noting that the formal signing ceremony of the agreement will take place in Switzerland.
