Washington (Monitoring Desk) The United States has imposed new sanctions on companies and individuals involved in supplying weapons to Iran.
According to the US Department of the Treasury, 14 individuals and companies have been added to the sanctions list.
The Treasury Department said the measures aim to target Iran’s weapons network, which includes various entities and elements.
US officials said the targets under sanctions also include Iranian aircraft, while elements based in Iran, Türkiye, and the United Arab Emirates have also been targeted.
The US Treasury added that the action has been taken to limit the activities of Iran’s arms supply network.
