Islamabad (Turkiye News) — US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Paul Kapur met Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, where detailed discussions were held on bilateral relations and the regional situation.
Ishaq Dar welcomed the recent visit of US Vice President JD Vance to Pakistan and said that Pakistan believes in dialogue and diplomatic means for resolving all issues.
He expressed satisfaction over the recent positive developments in Pakistan-US relations and welcomed growing cooperation in various sectors.
The Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of high-level contacts and continued meaningful dialogue.
US Assistant Secretary Paul Kapur appreciated Pakistan’s role in promoting peace and stability in the region and said that relations between the two countries are moving in a positive direction.
Both sides also agreed to further strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, and development sectors.
