U.S. and Israeli Strikes on Iran Continue; Tehran Launches 19th Wave of Missile Attacks

Tehran/Washington (Monitoring Desk): Efforts by U.S. Senate to stop President Donald Trump from ordering attacks on Iran failed, as American and Israeli forces fired hundreds of missiles at Iranian targets. In response, Iran has launched the 19th wave of missile strikes against Israel. Saudi Arabia also intercepted three cruise missiles near Al-Kharj City.

According to the Iranian Red Crescent, U.S. and Israeli forces have carried out 1,332 attacks in Iran so far, hitting 636 locations, 105 civilian facilities, 14 medical centers, and 7 Red Crescent buildings, with bombing affecting 174 cities. The attacks have killed 1,045 people in Iran.

In Lebanon, Israeli strikes killed Hamas leader Wasim Al-Ali and his wife, bringing total casualties to 75. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards also targeted separatist strongholds, while the President of Iraq’s Kurdistan region announced that the area would not participate in the conflict against Iran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi condemned the U.S. attack on the IRIS Dena naval vessel, noting that the ship was hosted by the Indian Navy and had 130 crew members aboard. Iran denied any missile strikes on Turkey.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced that China will send a special envoy to mediate in the Middle East, emphasizing the protection of civilians and energy infrastructure. Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that rising energy prices due to the war in Iran could lead Russia to consider halting gas supplies to Europe.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz, while the U.S. Navy announced measures to protect commercial shipping in the area. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for targeting an Israeli military base south of Tel Aviv, declaring that open warfare has begun and stating that peace requires the cessation of Israeli aggression and withdrawal from Lebanon.
