Istanbul (Turkey News): Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Kyiv will be represented at the upcoming NATO summit to be held in Ankara, Türkiye, although the exact format and level of participation is still being finalised.
According to international media reports, Zelenskyy made the remarks during a joint press conference with Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
He stated that it is clear Ukraine will be present at the summit, but discussions are ongoing regarding the level and structure of its representation.
The report added that both leaders discussed security conditions, border cooperation, energy issues, infrastructure development, and Ukraine’s path toward European Union membership during their meeting in Kyiv.
Separately, Maia Sandu visited Kyiv to attend commemorative events marking the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, highlighting the lasting impact of radiation in Europe.
