Abu Dhabi (Monitoring Desk) The United Arab Emirates has imposed a travel ban on its citizens visiting Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq, and has directed Emirati nationals currently in these countries to return home immediately.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the regional security situation and recent developments in the area.
The statement said that Emirati citizens in Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq should leave these countries as soon as possible and contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in case of any emergency.
Authorities clarified that the move has been taken to ensure the safety of citizens and that the situation is being continuously monitored.
