Istanbul (Turkiye News): President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed the ceasefire announced between the United States, Israel, and Iran, expressing hope that it will be fully implemented.
In a statement on social media platform “X,” he said that he hopes the ceasefire will be enforced on the ground in its entirety and that no opportunity will be given for any provocation or sabotage.
He congratulated all parties involved in reaching the ceasefire, especially appreciating Pakistan’s role and describing it as a friendly and brotherly country.
President Erdoğan stated that it is his sincere wish that the region, which has long suffered from wars, conflicts, tensions, and oppression, will soon achieve peace, stability, and prosperity.
He further emphasized that Türkiye will continue to raise its voice for peace in the region and across the world.
