Ankara (Turkey Desk) — Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has held telephone contacts with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, as well as Pakistani mediators.
According to Turkish diplomatic sources, the discussions focused on the latest situation and progress in ongoing Iran–US negotiations.
Sources in the Turkish Foreign Ministry said the main topic of the talks was the recent developments in diplomatic negotiations between the two countries.
However, authorities did not immediately release further details regarding the discussions.
