Air Chief of Pakistan Air Force visits Turkiye, agrees to enhance defence and aerospace cooperation

Islamabad (Turkey News Desk) — Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, during his official visit to Turkiye held important meetings with Turkish Air Force and defence leadership, agreeing to enhance cooperation in defence and modern technology sectors.

During the visit, the Air Chief met Turkish Air Force Commander General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, and Baykar Technologies Chief Technology Officer Selçuk Bayraktar.

Upon arrival at the Turkish Air Force Headquarters, the Air Chief was presented with a guard of honour, which was described as a symbol of brotherly relations and mutual respect between the two countries.

The meetings included detailed discussions on joint air exercises, professional training programs, and strengthening military cooperation. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration for improving operational coordination and defence capabilities.

The Turkish Air Force leadership praised the training cooperation with the Pakistan Air Force, terming it important for enhancing professional expertise and defence capacity of both nations.
