Washington (Monitoring Desk): Turkish Ambassador to the United States, Sadat Ünal, met with Senator Elissa Slotkin in Washington, D.C., in what both sides described as a “productive” meeting.
The Turkish Embassy stated on its social media platform X that the discussions focused on issues of mutual interest, bilateral cooperation between Turkey and the United States, and current regional and international developments.
According to the embassy, Ünal and Slotkin also emphasized the importance of maintaining dialogue and coordination between the two countries. The meeting was held behind closed doors, and no further details were released.
