Doha (Turkiye Khabar): According to Arab media reports, an Israeli businessman has claimed that US President Donald Trump threatened Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with imprisonment if certain demands were not met.
The report further states that harsh measures were also allegedly discussed regarding Netanyahu’s family, including the deportation of his son from the United States and the freezing of family assets. It is also claimed that Netanyahu’s wife exerted pressure on him in this regard.
Separately, some reports suggest that Netanyahu later contacted the US president. Earlier, American media had also reported that President Trump had strongly criticized Netanyahu in unusually harsh language.
Meanwhile, according to a US newspaper report, President Trump has informed his advisers that the United States does not intend to enter a new war against Iran unless American troops are targeted.
The report also says that the US administration prefers a diplomatic solution over expanding the scope of conflict in the region.
