Riyadh (Turkiye Khabar): The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, visited Saudi Arabia, where he held meetings with senior Saudi leadership.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, Grossi held separate meetings with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman.
The discussions reviewed cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the IAEA, while detailed talks were also held on nuclear non-proliferation and nuclear safeguards.
Both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in technical and technological fields and emphasized the need to ensure compliance with global nuclear safety standards.
The visit is being seen as part of efforts to promote international cooperation in the fields of energy and nuclear safety in the region.
