Washington (Monitoring Desk) Donald Trump chaired an important emergency meeting regarding possible war strategies related to Iran, during which various military and diplomatic options were reviewed.
According to U.S. media reports, the meeting held at White House was attended by the American vice president, secretary of state, secretary of defense, and senior military officials. Detailed consultations were held on the current situation involving Iran and possible future actions.
Speaking to the media afterward, President Trump claimed that there had been positive progress regarding Iran and said the United States was trying to end the conflict as soon as possible. He reiterated that Iran would not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons under any circumstances.
Trump stated that if Iran obtained nuclear capability, it could target Israel first, which is why the United States was maintaining a strict stance on the issue.
He further said that the possibility of renewed military action against Iran still exists and that important decisions could be taken in the coming days.
