The US president said that Iran must not possess nuclear weapons and it has to accept that it has not achieved its objectives in war, while the United States has nearly completed its goals against Iran.
Donald Trump claimed that several Iranian missile systems have been damaged and the value of the Iranian currency has also declined. According to him, he also held a telephonic conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the situations in Iran and Ukraine.
He said that it was made clear to Putin that before the United States can play any role in ending the war, Russia must stop its own war. According to Trump, Putin also expressed concern over Iran’s uranium enrichment issue.
According to American media, CENTCOM has requested the deployment of the “Dark Eagle” missile system in the Middle East, with the alleged aim of targeting long-range missile launchers in Iran. It is reported that this hypersonic missile system may be deployed operationally for the first time, although the program is not yet fully active.
