New Delhi (Monitoring Desk): An increase in anti-government protests has been observed in India, led by students and job-seeking youth, amid growing concerns over employment and education-related issues.
According to The New Indian Express, various student organizations and job aspirants staged protests in Lucknow, raising slogans against the government over educational and employment challenges. The demonstrators also criticized the education minister’s policies and demanded his resignation.
The report adds that similar protests were earlier held in Delhi and Pune over various issues, while preparations are reportedly underway for larger demonstrations in the coming days.
Representatives associated with the movement said they are raising their concerns peacefully and aim to push for a review of government policies.
