T20 Series: First Group of National Team Arrives in Colombo, Shadab, Faheem and Wasim Jr Included

Colombo (Sports Desk): The first group of Pakistan’s national cricket team has arrived in Sri Lanka’s capital Colombo ahead of the upcoming T20 series against Sri Lanka.

The first batch includes Shadab Khan, Faheem Ashraf, Wasim Jr and Salman Mirza. Head coach Mike Hesson, bowling coach Ashley Noffke, the fielding coach and other members of the support staff also arrived in Colombo with the same group.

All-rounder Shadab Khan, who is currently taking part in the Big Bash League (BBL), reached Sri Lanka directly from Australia. He played a BBL match in Sydney on January 3 and will rejoin Sydney Thunder after the conclusion of the series.

The remaining players of the national squad and the rest of the support staff are scheduled to depart from Lahore for Colombo later today.

The T20 matches between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played on January 7, 9 and 11.
