Islamabad (Turkey News): Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that strict enforcement of law will be ensured against anti-state agendas in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement shared on social media, he said that elections are approaching, and that resolving differences through the public’s mandate is the true democratic approach.
He stated that those who attempt to impose their ideology through violence and killings instead of public opinion cannot have democratic intentions.
According to the Defence Minister, incidents such as the martyrdom of police and security personnel and the desecration of bodies prove that such elements are attempting to sabotage the democratic electoral process.
He made it clear that if any group tries to operate outside the law and spread violence through anti-state activities, the state will enforce the law with full force. However, he also emphasized that the people of Kashmir will be given the opportunity to freely express their opinion.
