Islamabad (Turkiye News): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that a possible peace agreement between Iran and the United States is very close to completion and that the situation is now more promising than before.
In a statement posted on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan is fully aware of attempts by certain elements to spread misleading information during the mediation efforts, with the aim of undermining the peace process.
He stated that, contrary to various speculations, it can be confirmed that an agreed and final draft of the proposed peace agreement has been completed.
According to the Prime Minister, Pakistan remains in close contact with both parties and is working to finalize the remaining stages of the process.
Shehbaz Sharif said that this represents a significant development for peace and stability in the region and that a peace agreement is closer today than it has ever been in the past.
