Azerbaijan (Showbiz Desk): The world-renowned opera Tosca premiered at the Royal Opera House in Muscat, Oman, presented by the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
According to reports citing the Ministry of Culture, the event was attended by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture, Adil Kerimli, as well as leadership from the Omani theatre.
The central role of Mario Cavaradossi was performed by the famous Azerbaijani tenor and public artist Yusuf Eyvazov, captivating the audience. The performance also featured the symphony orchestra and choir of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, showcasing the full essence of theatre and music.
This presentation is being regarded as a significant milestone in promoting Azerbaijani musical culture internationally and highlights the country’s growing presence in the global opera scene.
