Sarsılmaz Agrees on Participation in European Defense Vehicle Partnerships

Istanbul (Turkiya News) — Turkish defense manufacturer Sarsılmaz has established a strategic partnership with Hungary’s HT Division and Slovenia’s PK Auto to integrate its remote-controlled weapon systems into European autonomous and unmanned ground vehicles.

The agreement with HT Division of Hungary was signed during the “Enforce Tech” International Defense Exhibition held in Germany from February 23 to 25. Under this deal, Sarsılmaz’s best-in-class remote-controlled weapon system will be installed on newly developed unmanned ground vehicles designed for fire support missions, and a fully integrated prototype was also showcased at the exhibition.

Simultaneously, Sarsılmaz held talks with Slovenia’s PK Auto to expand their existing collaboration. PK Auto specializes in autonomous low-voltage electric vehicles used for defense and search-and-rescue operations. Currently, the Slovenian company equips its vehicles with medium-caliber weapons produced by TR Mekatronic, a joint venture between Sarsılmaz and the Turkish aerospace industry.

Nuri Kızıltan, General Manager of Sarsılmaz’s Foreign Trade Department, stated that these partnerships demonstrate the performance, reliability, and interoperability of the company’s systems. He added that such collaborations enhance industrial innovation in response to evolving global security challenges and further strengthen Turkey’s global position in defense exports.
