Russian Forces Liberate Komarovka in Ukraine, Heavy Casualties Reported

Moscow (Monitoring Desk): The Russian military has successfully liberated Komarovka, a population center in the Sumy region of Ukraine, during a special military operation conducted over the past 24 hours.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian forces suffered significant losses. Russian Northern Battle Group reported 190 Ukrainian soldiers killed and the destruction of two armored vehicles.

Elsewhere, Russian operations reportedly resulted in hundreds of Ukrainian casualties and the destruction of numerous tanks, armored vehicles, and heavy machinery.

The Ministry of Defense further claimed that since the start of the special operation, Russian armed forces have destroyed:

  • 670 warplanes
  • 283 helicopters
  • 108,925 drones
  • 27,115 tanks and armored vehicles
  • 32,567 field artillery units
  • 51,746 special military vehicles
