Tehran (Monitoring Desk): According to Israeli media reports, Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei who was reportedly killed in a joint Israeli-American strike, has been named as Iran’s new Supreme Leader.
However, there has been no official confirmation from Iranian government sources. Iranian media, citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported that the Assembly of Experts is holding a session to select the Supreme Leader, and the process could take approximately a week. Reports indicate that the decision follows internal consultations within Iran’s religious and political leadership, but official silence has left the situation unclear.
