Tehran (Monitoring Desk) Iran has claimed to have carried out a retaliatory action following an alleged American attack on an Iranian commercial aircraft and has warned that any future aggression will be met with a firm response.
According to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, a vessel allegedly linked to the United States and Israel was targeted with a cruise missile near Iraqi maritime waters, resulting in an explosion aboard the ship. Iranian officials described the action as a response to recent developments.
Iranian military leaders have warned that any future military action against the country would receive a decisive and effective response. They stated that Iran possesses the capability to take all necessary measures to safeguard its security and national interests.
Meanwhile, Ebrahim Azizi expressed concern over the situation in Lebanon, warning that continued attacks could lead to serious consequences.
Addressing the United States and Israel, he said that Iran’s warnings should be taken seriously. According to him, Iran is fully prepared to respond to any potential scenario and will not retreat from defending its position and interests.
