Lahore (Showbiz Desk): 25-year-old Roma Riaz has been crowned Miss Universe Pakistan 2025, describing her victory as a mix of hard work and destiny.
Speaking about the competition, Roma revealed that the pageant was extremely challenging and detailed. The interview stage was particularly extensive to ensure that contestants were fully prepared for the Miss Universe platform.
The selection process began with 51 shortlisted contestants, which was then narrowed down to 20, and finally six finalists competed in the Maldives. Over the course of a week, the judges evaluated the participants’ attitude, communication skills, and overall presence.
Asked about hard work and luck, Roma stated that all contestants put in great effort, but her success was destined. After winning the national title, she went on to represent Pakistan at the Miss Universe competition in Thailand on November 21, 2025.
Addressing social media criticism, Roma said it does not affect her. She aims to move forward with determination and inspire young women, reminding them that online comments cannot diminish confidence. Regarding her skin tone and body weight, she emphasized that she is happy with herself, affirming that every girl is beautiful and there’s no need to change your natural self.
