Peshawar (Turkey News) – A resolution has been submitted in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly recommending Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar for the Nobel Peace Prize.
The resolution was presented in the assembly secretariat by Shehla Bano, a member of the Pakistan مسلم لیگ (ن).
According to the text, the leadership’s effective diplomacy has helped pave the way for peace and stability in the region.
The resolution states that rising tensions among Israel, United States, and Iran had posed serious threats to global peace and could have escalated into a major international crisis.
It further adds that the efforts of the prime minister, the army chief, and the foreign minister contributed to de-escalation, and therefore they should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of their role in promoting peace.
