Doha (Monitoring Desk): Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has instructed residents living near the U.S. Embassy in the capital, Doha, to evacuate the area as a precautionary measure.
According to locals, police officers are present in the vicinity, calmly guiding citizens to leave the area. Temporary accommodations are being arranged for affected individuals, and some have been directed to nearby metro stations.
No immediate threat has been confirmed, but the move follows a warning from the U.S. Department of State advising American citizens to leave the Middle East immediately. U.S. citizens have been instructed that if direct commercial flights are unavailable, they should travel via nearby countries such as Oman or Saudi Arabia to exit the region safely.
