Khojavend (Turkey News ) Under a government project, families arriving through a new resettlement convoy have been handed over the keys to their homes.
According to the Azerbaijani state news agency AZERTAC, officials and representatives of relevant institutions attended the ceremony, including officials from various government departments.
During the ceremony, representatives of the National Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) briefed returning families about the dangers of landmines and unexploded explosive devices.
Officials instructed citizens to stay away from any suspicious or unknown objects and to immediately inform relevant authorities in such situations.
The newly resettled families expressed satisfaction with the state measures and provided facilities, and thanked the government for the provision of better living conditions.
Participants of the ceremony also paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the rehabilitation of these areas, while the services of former war-affected individuals were also acknowledged.
