Azerbaijan (Showbiz Desk): Singer and TV star Reggie, who was hospitalized due to pneumonia, is recovering and has shared an update on his condition and recovery with fans via social media, according to News.Az, citing international media sources.
In a video posted on Instagram on January 25, Reggie revealed that his heart was functioning at only 25% capacity. He said:
"My heart is beating at only 25%, but as long as I stay focused and on the right path, everything will be fine. My health is still not fully recovered, so I want to thank everyone who is praying for me and supporting me."
In the video caption, the 45-year-old singer wrote: "I almost died!! I am alive because of your prayers."
Reggie also thanked his sister Brandy and actress Sheila Hasanov from Love Cabin, who stayed with him in the hospital and provided support. He said: "Some people helped keep me alive. I love you, Sheila."
This is not Reggie’s first experience with pneumonia. In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he was also hospitalized for the illness, and at that time, although his COVID test was negative, he was in a ward with COVID patients.
This health crisis coincided with Reggie facing personal challenges, including his divorce. He is the father of two children with his former wife, Princess Love—daughter Melody (7) and son Epic (5). In 2024, they announced their separation again, after a previous divorce filing was dismissed by the court.
Princess Love told People: "After much thought, discussion, and counseling, we made the difficult decision to go our separate ways. Separation is better for both of us, and we remain committed to maintaining a positive and supportive family environment for our children."
